In her living room she chose the Boston Side Chairs from the Albert Sack Collection. The chairs are adapted from a set made by John Seymour, a famous cabinetmaker from Boston, our version includes and arm and side chair. Tobi has taken this distinctive form and has updated it with a combination of leather and fabric. In the background hangs a Soleil Mirror and a retired Blackwell Sideboard that was adapted from an antique found at the Winterthur Museum. For more holiday images from Tobi Fairley, please visit her December series on her blog!
In this last image a designer shared a picture of her new baby asleep on the Gidley Chair. The Gidley Chair is retired now but timeless in form. It too was adapted from an antique found at the Winterthur Museum.
